There are many things to do and see in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is the only lake port city in northwest Pennsylvania with a rich history dating back to 1795. Visit the museums in the area that tell Erie's story, including the Maritime Museum, Historical Museum, and several others. Enjoy a scenic drive along Erie's historic bayfront as you head downtown toward Dobbins Landing. There you can ascend 187 feet to the top of the Bicentennial Tower where you can take in a magnificent aerial view of the city and its harbor from two observation decks.

Do you love getting out into nature, whether it's for recreation or relaxation? Then visit Presque Isle State Park and Asbury Woods. They are two of the area's most popular natural attractions. We are located only two miles from Presque Isle State Park where you can enjoy year round activities. In the summer take advantage of seven miles of sandy beaches, miles of hiking trails, canoeing in the lagoons, boating, scuba diving, fishing, biking, rollerblading, and bird-watching. There are many picnic areas and a wonderful nature center displaying local wildlife unique to the park. In the winter months, there is free cross-country skiing, ice skating, and ice fishing. Asbury Woods is a 200-acre tract of wetlands, trails, forests, streams, fields and historic properties. Located just one and a half miles away it is one of the premier environmental centers in northwestern Pennsylvania, providing educational and recreational opportunities to more than 130,000 visitors annually.
